My mom often accused me of having a problem. “Those clothes don’t even fit you!” she’d say. It didn’t matter. They had been abandoned and it was up to me to rescue them. Who knew that this seemingly innocent obsession would prove rather handy. After working as a fundraising professional for 5 years, I was unexpectedly laid off in the Spring of 2011.
I took the opportunity to take my severance package and go to Europe until the well ran dry. It was there that I realized that I had been afforded a very precious gift: for the first time in my life, I knew what I was really, really good at.
Searching through the quantity to seek out and save the quality.
Participating in any street or community market I could, I first began by selling my personal collection. Every week, my discerning eye improved.
I started selling vintage clothing and accessories in 2011 because I believed then, and still do today, that people deserves the kind of sophistication and refinement that these pieces offer. As my knowledge of the unique and carefully selected products grows, so too does the collection.
I appreciate the opportunity to share it with you.
